Renat Khasanshyn

Founder, Member of Board of Directors

Renat is co-founder of Altoros, as well as Venture Partner at Runa Capital and a co-founder of Protofire/Atomica/Etherisc family of Web3 Protocol DAOs. His recent achievements at Altoros include building an insurance practice in cooperation with Allianz, Allstate, and Liberty Mutual, focusing on canonical use cases of blockchain, fronting, reinsurance, and insurance securitization (catastrophe bonds). Renat has immensely contributed to growing Altoros to a 350+ employee consultancy and professional IT services provider, specializing in cloud computing, custom software development, data engineering, and blockchain.

In 2001, Renat got his start as a software engineer at a regulated insurance intermediary in Tampa, Florida. As Vice President of Engineering at Primed, he took part in creating one of the first online insurance portals, giving uninsured Americans immediate access to a network of 30,000 doctors. Renat once won an IBM Business Mashup Challenge and has been nominated for the Emerging Executive of the Year award by the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council. He is also the founder of Apatar (a company developing an open-source data integration toolkit) and the Silicon Valley NewSQL User Group, as well as a cofounder of Protofire (professional services provider for token-based startups), and Atomica (a company building autonomous protocols for trading DeFi risks).

Andrei Yurkevich

President and CTO

Andrei has been working in the software industry for 20+ years and currently holds the position of President and Chief Technology Officer at Altoros. Under his leadership, the engineering team has expanded from zero to 350+ experts across seven locations around the world. Currently, Andrei is in charge of developing technology alliances within cloud-native ecosystems. Under his management, Altoros has developed a unique methodology to help Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies to integrate container orchestration into the existing workflows, achieving a higher degree of automation and reducing operational costs. Andrei has also introduced new approaches to software product development, sales, marketing, staff motivation, performance management, and team building that proved to be effective with time.

Jan-Terje Nordlien

CEO of Altoros Norge AS

Jan-Terje Nordlien supported Altoros in creating and developing its Norwegian subsidiary, Altoros Norge AS. Over 20 years in the enterprise software industry have helped him to successfully define and implement the company's technical and business strategy in the Nordic region. Before joining Altoros, Mr. Nordlien was the Head of the Mobile Workforce department at Locus, where he was in charge of creating an innovative mobile platform using the latest technologies. His prior positions include Chief Technical Officer Norway and Product Manager at Consafe Logistics, Product Specialist at Sybase, and Senior Consultant at Accenture. Mr. Nordlien has an information technology degree from Høgskolen i Hedmark.
